Prof. Xunlin Qiu, East China University of Science and Technology,China

Prof Qiu Xunlin studied at Tongji University from 1996 to 2006 and obtained bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. From 2006 to 2020, I worked in teaching and research at the University of Potsdam and the Technical University of Khemnitz in Germany. He has won the Special Prize for Polymer Science in Brandenburg, Germany and the First Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress in China's Petroleum and Chemical Industry. In July 2017, he obtained a German university charter to teach at the University of Potsdam (Dr. rer. nat. habil.). In 2019, he was selected as a Distinguished Professor (Oriental Scholar) of Shanghai Universities and Shanghai Overseas High level Talent Plan. He is currently a distinguished professor at East China University of Science and Technology, a scientific advisory member of the International Symposium on Electrets (ISE), a subject editor of the IET Nanoelectronics journal, an IEEE and DEIS Senior Member, and a member of the Special Committee on Dielectric High Molecular Composite Materials and Applications of the Chinese Composite Materials Society. I have successively led and undertaken research projects from the German Science Foundation (DFG), general projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, national key research and development plan projects, and sub tasks from the national key research and development plan. I have been engaged in fundamental and applied research in the fields of functional dielectrics and electrets, piezoelectric sensing materials and piezoelectric transducers, elastic materials, printing electronic devices, etc. for a long time. I have published over 100 academic papers, co authored 2 academic monographs, and currently has a h-index of 21.
