Dr. Fatin Saiha Omar, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia,Malaysia
Dr. Fatin Saiha Omar obtained her Ph.D. in Experimental Physics from the University of Malaya in 2018. During her Ph.D., she developed metal oxides and metal phosphates composited with conducting polymers and graphene for electrochemical sensor and energy storage applications. In 2019, she worked as a post-doctoral research fellow where she began to transition into the development of electrode materials and polymer electrolytes for dye-sensitized solar cells. In 2020, she joined the Department of Applied Physics, Faculty of Science and Technology, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia as a senior lecturer. Her current research focuses on the development of different dimensions (1D/2D/3D)-based nanomaterials for electrochemical energy storage, electrochemical sensors, photocatalytic water treatment, and recently, antenna.
