Dr. Hemant Borkar, Indian Institute of Technology Indore,India

Dr. Borkar is currently working as Assistant Professor at MEMS department at IIT Indore. He has joined the institute in 2017 and has been involved in the research in the area of lightweight metals, deformation behavior, microstructural investigation of metals, crystallographic texture and advanced manufacturing including additive manufacturing. He has completed his PhD in the area of deformation behavior of Magnesium alloys from McGill University, Canada. He has postdoctoral research and teaching experience in Sweden and UK. He has supervised PhD, PG and UG students. He has several publications to his credit and has presented at several international conferences.
